Die E3 fällt bekanntlich dieses Jahr ins Wasser, während die Gamescom und andere Initiatoren ihre Veranstaltungen in den kommenden Monaten als digitales Event abhalten werden. Mit der New Game + Expo gibt es nun eine weitere Veranstaltung, die im Juni als Ersatz zur Electronic Expo in Los Angeles fungieren soll und bereits eine illustre Runde aus Entwicklern und Publishern aus Japan und Nordamerika um sich gesammelt hat. Mit dabei sind u.a. Akysy Games, Arc System Works America, GungHo America, Idea Factory International, Inti Creates, Koei Tecmo America, Natsume Inc., NIS America, Playism, Sega of America, SNK Corporation, Spike Chunsoft und WayForward. Diese willen am 23. Juni 2020 um 17 Uhr exklusiv auf Twitch eine rund einstündige Präsentation mit neuen Spielankündigungen, Trailern und Gameplay abhalten. Im Anschluss folgt eine Live-Üb ertragung, die bis zum 24. Juni 2020 um 01:00 Uhr stattfinden soll.
