Die Nominierungen der The Game Awards 2020 stehen fest. Mit den meisten Nominierungen führt The Last of Us Part II (insgesamt zehn Nominierungen), darunter auch für das Spiel des Jahres. Mit dem Naughty Dog Spiel befinden sich noch Final Fantasy VII Remake, DOOM Eternal, Animal Crossing: New Horizons, Hades und Ghost of Tsushima im Pool um die begehrteste Trophäe der Awards.
