Star Wars: Battlefront 2 wird im Januar 2019 mit vielen Ingame-Events und dem Darth Tyranus Update bereichert. Bei letzterem handelt es sich um einen weiteren Inhaltspatch, der uns diesmal mit Count Dooku einen neuen Helden für die dunkle Seite der Macht bringt. Damit ihr euch den neuen Helden auch leisten könnt, wird es eine ganze Reihe von Events geben, in denen teilweise spezielle Bedingungen vorherrschen, die euch aber auch mehr Punkte, als üblich geben. Um was es sich dabei genau handelt, lest ihr im folgenden:

Triple XP Event: Heroes and Villains

• January 4th – 6th
• We’re kicking off the new year with our first ever triple experience event. During this time playing Heroes vs Villains and Hero Showdown will earn three times the amount of experience as normal. No better time to level up your General Grievous and Obi Wan Kenobi.

Triple XP Event: Troopers

• January 11th – 13th
• January continues to be the month of triple experience with a special event revolving around Troopers. Jump into Blast and Strike to earn bonus experience for all your troopers.

Triple XP Event: Starfighters

• January 18th – 20th
• Take the battle into space as we finish up a month of triple experience in Starfighter Assault and Hero Starfighters.

Darth Tyranus Update

• January 23rd
• Count Dooku arrives into Star Wars Battlefront II, along with an additional appearance „Dark Ritual“. Joining him in this update will be the Coruscant Guard Clone Troopers.
• New Hero: Count Dooku
• New Count Dooku Appearance: Dark Ritual
• New Clone Trooper Appearance: Coruscant Guard

Battle Point Event: Eras

• January 25th – 27th
• For all Galactic Assault maps, era-appropriate heroes will have their Battle Point costs reduced by 50%, while non-era heroes will be unavailable.
